3.2.4 Construction Documents Phase

Architectural teams are responsible for finalizing the design of all spaces, details, and finishes, and ensuring alignment with client expectations and interdisciplinary coordination. Key deliverables include:

  • Final General Arrangement (GA) plans, elevations, and sections with all dimensions and tags
  • Detailed room layouts, wall/ceiling/floor finishes, wet area details, and joinery
  • Final door and window schedules, material legends, and section cuts
  • Technical specifications and coordinated BOQs for architectural elements
  • Integration of coordination feedback from mechanical and electrical disciplines (e.g., ceiling space, shaft sizes)

The architectural output must be precise, graphically clear, and fully constructible, leaving no ambiguity for contractors.
